Goalie:
Jack Campbell – If your league values saves, and doesn’t crush you for losses, Campbell is worth a look right now. If we throw away last night’s game against the Panthers, who seem to score 4 times a night no matter who they play, Campbell has played well, and the Kings have largely stopped giving up a lot of goals.
Forwards:
Paul Stastny: With William Karlsson out, Stastny has moved up to the top line, and the top power play for Vegas. He has talented wingers around him, so he could get you some points down the stretch, at least until Karlsson returns.
Jared McCann: With Crosby back, McCann regains a lot of value. He has 4 points in his last 4 games and is eligible at both LW and C in ESPN leagues.
Defense:
Rasmus Sandin: In his NHL debut, Sandin got a couple of assists, filling in the void left by Morgan Reilly nicely. He has some pedigree, as a former first-round pick, and had nearly a point per game in the AHL this year as a 19-year-old, which is pretty impressive. He is young, so expect some mistakes, so if your league uses plus/minus you will want to account for that, but he is worth a pick up to see if he keeps scoring points, but if nothing else he is shooting and getting lots of hits.
Samuel Girard: Girard is a defenceman that can help almost any team. He gets points, he gets power-play time, and he shoots and gets hits. He is also the type of player that you have to be ready to churn when the points dry up, as his hits aren’t high enough to carry his profile.
